TRAVEL DIRECTIONS

BERRY HILL PARK, MANSFIELD

Go south along the M1 to Junction 29; turn left and follow A617 through Glapwell and Pleasley into Mansfield. The A617 becomes a dual carriageway (Chesterfield Road), and eventually the Mansfield Inner Ring Road (A6009); continue straight along this into the centre of Mansfield.

Turn left on to A617 (Ratcliffe Gate; this becomes Rock Hill). Go straight ahead at the traffic lights at the top of the hill, where the A617 becomes Southwell Road West; take the second road on the right (Jenny Beckett’s Lane), and follow it to the first major cross-roads (Berry Hill Lane).

To reach the track car-park turn right into Berry Hill Lane; follow this to a double mini-roundabout. Turn left at the second of these into Litchfield Lane; the park entrance is about 150 yards down on the left (second entrance).

For the National Cross-Country Relays an alternative is to go straight ahead at the cross-roads into Black Scotch Lane; there is an overflow car and coach park with its entrance about 200 yards on the right.
