Explanation of format. The all-time ranking website files are meant to reflect the original records book which is held at the club headquarters, and which is maintained by club statistician John Lunn. Unfortunately the tables, which were originated well before the website began, will comprise columns which will not neatly line up (technical note: because tabs do not work in html pages). A lot of work has been done reducing the files in size, for easier web browsing. Therefore, information which once constituted about 13 files, now exists in 250+ smaller files. Despite the lack of feedback from club members, in order to keep the website more up to date, and reduce the delay in uploading new, ever-changing ranking marks, it has been decided to sacrifice neatness. The WebRunner therefore apologizes if files slip through where units of measurement do not comply with the international units*, and if files slip through where venues and names omit accents on letters (e.g. Malmo/Malmö). Please contact the Statistician if any amendments should be made.
* e.g. M not m may have been used for
metres, Kg not kg may have been used for kilogrammes, and feet and
inches for hurdle heights. The
hurdle height conversion is as follows:
2 ft 3 in ≈ 69
cm, 2 ft 6 ≈ 76 cm, 2 ft 9 ≈ 84 cm, 3 ft ≈ 91
cm, 3 ft 3 ≈ 99 cm, 3 ft 6 ≈ 107 cm.
