TRAVEL DIRECTIONS

CLAIRVILLE STADIUM, MIDDLESBROUGH

Go north from Leeds along A58 (or alternatively along M1 from east of Leeds) to Wetherby, and then along A1 and A1M to Dishforth, at the end of the motorway section. Come off A1 and follow A168 (signposted Thirsk); this by-passes Thirsk to join the A19.

Follow the A19 to its junction with the A174; turn right along the latter road, and at the third junction turn left on to the A172 (Stokesley Road) towards Middlesbrough. Go straight ahead at first major cross-roads (traffic lights; Stewart Park on the right) and follow Marton Road, going straight ahead at the first roundabout. Take third turning on left after the roundabout into Park Road South (church on facing corner); the track is on the right.

Alternatively, turn off the A19 at the Cleveland Tontine Inn and follow the A172 through Stokesley and Marton, and then proceed as above – shorter, but not as fast a road.
