TRAVEL DIRECTIONS

SEEDHILL TRACK, NELSON

Travel from Leeds to Shipley; form central Leeds take A65 (Kirkstall Road/Abbey Road/New Road Side) to Horsforth and turn left along the Ring Road (A6120); from outer suburbs travel along Ring Road. In all cases make for the Rodley Roundabout and turn on to the A657 towards Shipley. (Note – in the evening rush-hour the stretch through Shipley and Saltaire can be extremely busy.)

Follow A657 through Thackley, Windhill and Shipley (straight on at traffic lights in Shipley centre) to meet A650 at Saltaire. Turn right along A650 past Bingley to Keighley; go straight ahead at the first two roundabouts in Keighley, and at the third turn right on to the A629 (signposted Skipton). At the second roundabout turn sharp left on to A6068 (signposted Colne), cross level crossing and turn right at next traffic-lights.

Follow A6068 through Cross Hills, Cowling and Laneshaw Bridge to Colne; at the first roundabout on the edge of Colne take the by-pass (second exit), which shortly becomes the A56. Go straight ahead at the first roundabout and all traffic lights to the next roundabout (North Valley pub in middle of roundabout); take second exit and continue along A56 to the end of the M65 motorway.

Follow the M65 to Junction 13. Come off, turn right under the motorway, and at the roundabout take the first exit onto the A6068 (Barrowford Road). Almost immediately turn left into Surrey Road (large thatched pub on corner); the track is on the right. Car-parking is very limited.
