TRAVEL DIRECTIONS

WOODBANK PARK, STOCKPORT

Travel west along M62 to Junction 18; come off, and turn left along M60, signposted Stockport.

Come off M60 at Junction 26 on to A560 (Crookilley Way). (Note – this is an awkward junction, being simply a slip-road off the motorway; if you miss it, you can’t get off at Junction 27!) Follow A560 to next large roundabout.

Take second exit at roundabout on to A626 (St. Mary’s Way). Go straight ahead at first traffic-lights; at second turn left into Hall Street (still A626).

At next traffic lights take sharp turn left into Turncroft Lane; almost immediately turn right into Woodbank Park car-park.

The track is about a ¾-mile walk from the car-park; take the footpath through the hedge at the far end, turn left and walk into the park. The track is on the right.
