WRITTEN TRAVEL DIRECTIONS
USER’S GUIDE
These directions are
written with the intention of being used by somebody ‘navigating’ for a
driver. The writer has ‘driven’ all the route, and attempted to include both street-names
and landmarks which are easy to spot when driving past (he makes no excuse for
using pubs – they’re obvious things!)
Important features such as street names and road numbers are
written in red so that the navigator can be on the look-out
for them.
Where there is more than one possible route the writer has begun with
the one he prefers himself; the alternative is indicated in green.
